• What we believe at Bognor Vineyard Church

    We believe Church should:
Be the expression of who we are, every day in our community. Be inclusive and welcoming to the community. Always show God's MERCY to the community. Be a place where you can be who you are and you can feel at home.

  • Bognor Vineyard Church - a church in your community. Fair trade shop and counselling services.

Bognor Vineyard was planted out from Portsmouth Vineyard in May 1999 with just 5 members.  It has grown steadily since and has now become an established family church with an age group of 0 - 94.

You are most welcome to join us for a relaxed, friendly Sunday morning where we cater for all ages.<...

There are many people in this area who have said 'YES' to believing in God but have said 'NO' to Church. At Bognor Vineyard we are trying to create the kind of place where you feel comfortable enough to explore what God is all about and decide for yourself.

We aim to:

  • Share God's love practically, to have a big heart to share the Good News with all who will listen.
  • Worship a Great God in a relaxed and contemporary style.
  • Express our love and thanks to Father God and witness to our ongoing need of His help.
  • Teach the truths of the Bible in a clear, relevant and “down to earth” way.
  • Grow a caring company of people into a family with the purpose of making a difference in our community.
  • See Jesus being part of our everyday life, not just on Sundays!
  • See the power of God working in our lives and in the community in which we live.
  • Be a church that sees and uses the Vineyard Genetic Code as its principles.
  • Look at what the Bible says about everyday issues and learn how to apply this in our own situations.
  • Attract Christians who do not have a home church and who share Vineyard Values.
  • Attract those who have let their faith fade or diminish.
  • Attract those who are interested in finding out about Jesus.
  • Show God's MERCY constantly to people in a practical way without any conditions attached.
  • See “What the Father is doing” (John 5.19) and join Him doing it.
  • See the Holy Spirit move in power as we pray for people for healing and freedom in their lives See more and more people enjoying the Fruits of the Kingdom.

If Vineyard is not “home” for someone, we will encourage them to find another Church that is more meaningful for them and where they feel relaxed.

Verse of The Day

“Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23)
